Implementation inspected
Sources: LICENSING-PLAN.md; backend/README.md; database schema; worker and email source; storefront/account HTML. Accounts are a local test implementation. Production email, checkout, shipping, desktop integration and offline policy are not verified as operational. Policy links do not implement deletion, consent, retention or legal acceptance records.
Research starting points
Counsel should confirm current law and applicability. These sources do not imply that every foreign rule applies.
Lebanese Law 81/2018: review business disclosures, online contracting, marketing and personal-data duties alongside consumer law.
CFTC: risk-disclosure background. General reference for leverage and execution risks, not a claim of registration or US applicability.
Privacy Policy
Who is responsible
TradeMate is a product brand operated by a business registered in Lebanon.
Information and purposes
Account access: email, account identifier, verification and session records, to verify access and protect accounts.
Licensing: hashed package code and reference, ownership, activation and expiry dates, device name and device-binding identifier, to redeem a code and manage the two-computer entitlement.
Security: IP-related rate-limit information and account/device event records, to prevent abuse and investigate faults. Hosting providers may also process request metadata.
Purchases, when checkout launches: contact and delivery details, order information, payment status and shipment details. Payment and courier providers remain to be selected.
Support: fault descriptions, screenshots and diagnostic information you send. Remove broker passwords, full payment details and unrelated personal information.
Email verification is necessary for account access; a package code is needed to claim a licence; pairing details are needed to connect a computer. Without them, those services cannot be provided. Marketing permission should be optional and separate.
Reasons for processing
Proposed purposes are providing requested accounts, licences and orders; meeting applicable record-keeping duties; securing the service; and answering support requests. Marketing needs a separately established lawful basis and opt-out. Reading this notice is not blanket consent.
Providers and international transfers
The prepared architecture uses Cloudflare infrastructure and a Resend email integration. Production accounts and real email are not connected in the inspected local implementation. Payment, courier and support providers remain to be selected. Necessary information may be shared with providers for their roles, or disclosed where law requires.
Cookies
The prepared account service uses an operational sign-in cookie with a seven-day session lifetime in its current configuration. Sign-out revokes the session. Blocking the cookie prevents persistent sign-in. The marketing preview has no live account service.
Retention and security
Keep information only for documented service, security and legal needs. The prepared implementation hashes package codes and session secrets, limits sign-in attempts and schedules cleanup of short-lived records. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Your requests and changes
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to certain uses, withdraw consent, and complain to the competent authority. Some records may need to remain for lawful purposes. Proportionate identity verification may be needed. The final notice must show its effective date and explain material changes.
Terms of Use
Scope and operator
These proposed terms cover the website and account service. Sales & Refunds addresses purchases, the Software Licence addresses software use, and the Privacy Policy addresses personal information.
Accounts and responsible access
Use accurate information, protect your email and sign-in codes, and approve only computer-pairing requests you recognise. Do not use another person’s package code or access an account without permission. Report suspected compromise through the final support channel.
Permitted use and content
Use the site and account features for their intended purposes. Do not impersonate others, distribute malware, interfere with services or bypass access controls. These rules do not restrict rights protected by law, including lawful interoperability rights. Branding, artwork and software remain subject to their owners’ rights; access does not transfer ownership. Third-party platforms have their own terms, and naming them does not imply endorsement.
Availability and account restrictions
Maintenance and outages can affect availability. Material changes affecting paid access should have appropriate notice and any remedies required by law. Security restrictions should be proportionate, investigated and accompanied by a review route where appropriate.
Responsibility and disputes
TradeMate is an execution and position-management tool, not a guarantee of profit or personalised investment advice. Read the Trading Risk Disclosure. Nothing in this draft excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Software Licence
How a licence is obtained
Only the unique code inside a physical TradeMate keypad box grants the planned software entitlement. Payment, account registration and checkout success alone do not issue a licence. A verified email account claims the code once. It need not use the purchase email, allowing a gift or retail purchase to be claimed by its owner. Keep unclaimed codes private.
Term and device allowance
Claiming links the licence to the account without starting the term. First approved computer activation starts one calendar year. Up to two computers may be registered at a time. Browser and phone account visits do not consume device slots. The account should display the start and expiry dates.
Permission to use
Proposed grant: a limited, non-exclusive right to use the companion software for its intended functions on permitted computers during the licence term. Ownership is not transferred. Do not distribute activation codes, circumvent entitlement controls or redistribute the software except as expressly permitted or allowed by law.
Connectivity and computer changes
Remove an old computer to connect a replacement. Removal prevents subsequent refresh; an already-issued signed session can remain valid until expiry. The current fifteen-minute session is a staging configuration, not a promised customer offline allowance.
Compatibility and updates
The current site describes a Windows companion and MetaTrader 5 EA. Other platforms are not promised here. Check released-version operating-system, terminal and broker requirements. Material updates affecting paid access require suitable notice and remedies where applicable.
Returns and ending access
The keypad and software are a combined offering. Claiming a code does not automatically waive statutory cancellation, return or defect rights. Any digital-content consent or withdrawal exception requires market-specific review. Termination for misuse should follow an appropriate notice and review process. Nothing in this draft excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Sales & Refunds
Seller and availability
Orders are not open in the inspected preview. The final terms must identify the seller, address, contact details and applicable registration/tax information before checkout launches.
Package contents
The proposed package contains the TradeMate V1 keypad, a USB Type-C charging cable, a printed guide and a concealed software activation code. The Software Licence describes access. Check supported systems and included items before ordering.
Pricing and ordering
Before payment, checkout should show price, currency, delivery, taxes and other mandatory costs, and explain any separately payable import charges. Customers should be able to correct order details. State when an order becomes accepted and provide a durable copy of the applicable terms.
Delivery
Orders should state destinations, delivery estimates, tracking and how delayed, lost or damaged deliveries are handled. Distinguish estimates from guaranteed dates. Photos can help investigate damage without removing legal rights.
Cancellation and returns
Applicable statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights remain available. Distinguish those rights from any additional voluntary return offer. Explain how to request a return, send the goods back and receive a refund.
Faults, activation and refunds
Faulty or non-conforming products must be handled under applicable rights and any additional warranty, not solely as change-of-mind returns. Activation alone does not exclude all refunds. See Warranty & Support. Nothing in this draft excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Warranty & Support
Consumer rights and warranty
Mandatory rights for faulty or non-conforming goods apply independently of any voluntary warranty. The software-access term is not automatically the hardware-warranty period. Nothing in this draft excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Coverage and remedies
The final warranty should explain covered defects and when inspection, repair, replacement or refund is available. Exclusions for accidents, misuse, wear, liquid damage, battery ageing or modifications must be specific, fair and compatible with mandatory rights.
Getting support
Prepare your product/order reference, fault description, when it began and relevant software/operating-system versions. Photos or video may help. For activation problems, use your account email and a non-secret package reference where available. Never share broker passwords, payment security codes or unused activation codes publicly.
Returning a product
Obtain the correct instructions/address before dispatch where practical, pack securely and keep shipping evidence. An administrative authorisation process must not remove statutory rights.
Software and urgent positions
Support helps with product faults and setup; it does not choose investments or manage your trading account. If TradeMate is unavailable with positions open, use the broker platform or contact the broker. Do not rely on a support response to close an urgent position.
Trading Risk Disclosure
Potential financial loss
Trading can cause substantial losses. Leverage magnifies exposure; depending on the product, account and legal protections, losses may exceed initially committed funds. Consider whether trading suits your circumstances. A keypad, calculator or automation feature does not make a trade safe.
No advice or performance promise
TradeMate helps communicate your chosen actions and manage positions under your settings. It does not guarantee returns, prevent losses or provide personalised investment recommendations. Demonstrations, example calculations and simulated results are illustrative, not predictions of live outcomes.
Verify calculations
Position-size and risk estimates depend on instrument, contract size, tick size/value, account currency, conversion rates, price and settings. Spread, commissions, slippage and financing can change results. Verify broker specifications and profiles. A gold pip convention in an example is not universal across brokers.
Orders and markets
Orders can be delayed, rejected, partially filled or executed at another price. Stop-loss, stop-limit and take-profit instructions do not guarantee execution at the requested level in all conditions. Gaps, low liquidity and volatility can make losses greater than estimates.
Technology and automation
Computer failure, Bluetooth interruption, internet outages, terminal settings, broker restrictions and software defects can interrupt actions. Armed management rules may act without another keypress when conditions are met and may require the app, terminal and EA to remain running and connected. Do not assume all rules are held at the broker.
Controls and fallback
Verify account, instrument, mode, size and armed rules. Accidental or repeated inputs can trigger unwanted actions. Test unfamiliar functions in demo conditions and verify outcomes in the broker terminal. Keep independent broker-platform access when positions are open; do not rely solely on TradeMate or a licence connection.
Legal rights
This disclosure explains risk. It does not excuse misleading statements, remove consumer rights or exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
